September is here already and although summer is over and it is back to school there are many events to look forward to at Dragonfly & Owl! One of our new programs we will be offering this year is our Kid’s Handwriting Workshop. Parent’s often have concerns regarding their child’s handwriting and the difficulty they have to motivate their child’s interest in handwriting. Handwriting can be difficult for many children due to decreased hand strength, stability, core strength and overall delayed fine motor skills. In our Kid’s Handwriting Workshop we provide a multisensory approach to improve not only a child’s handwriting, but their overall confidence in themselves, as well as their interest to participate in handwriting activities.
